Jakub J. Staniewski
President of the Polish Youth Association
Jakub J. Staniewski was born in Lublin, Poland and immigrated to the United States at the age of five years. He is currently a student at Seton Hall University and intends to graduate with a degree in Diplomacy & International Relations. Previously, he attended Rutgers Business School.
As a student at Polish Supplementary School, he achieved the highest grades and distinguished himself by attaining prestigious results in school competitions related to Polish history, language, culture and theatre. He starred in an episode of the TV series about Polish families living in the USA, „W naszym domu mówimy po polsku” which was broadcast on the national television station TVP Polonia in over 20 countries to over 2.8 million viewers.
At age sixteen, he founded his own company Ordon Enterprises LLC, established the brand Varsovia Exclusive Menswear, and continues to constantly expand the scope of his business undertakings. He has been involved as a volunteer for polish schools and the Polish Supplementary School Council of America for many years. In March 2019, he was appointed the first President of the Youth Affairs Committee at the Polish Supplementary School Council of America and additionally serves on the editorial board of its quarterly magazine "Asystent". As of April 2019, he is the Founder and President of the Polish Youth Association, an organization with the goal of engaging youth and supporting them in their initiatives.
He is fluent in Polish, English, Spanish, and currently studies Russian.
Represents the Polish Youth Association, heads the board, chairs the meetings of the board of the Association, and manages the affairs of the Association. The President creates the Association's vision and manages its activities so that they bring the Association closer to achieving its goal.
