Event Details

The Polish Youth Association together with the Polish Supplementary School Council of America invites you to a journey in history, on which we will set off together with the captain, sub-scoutmaster Feliks Waśkiewicz, a scout, a member of the Home Army, who in 1944 crossed the Vistula to the fighting Warsaw. Arrested by the NKVD, transported to Lublin, he became a prisoner of the Soviet camp at Majdanek, from which he escaped. He was arrested again and put on a communist death row.

This event is organized in cooperation with the Polish Supplementary School Council of America.

Meeting hosted by Lt. Karol Cierpica. The meeting will take place as part of a series of meetings of "Two-Generation Veterans with School Youth" implemented within the scope of the development and strengthening program of the Association SE Sursum Corda - Intergenerational Social Incubator, which is financed from funds received from the NIW - CRSO under the Civic Organizations Program for 2018 - 2030.
