Coordinator of Cultural Programs
Born in New York City, Julia Maciejak grew up immersed in Polish culture thanks to her parents' efforts at maintaining a true Polish household. Julia has visited Poland every summer since she was little, exploring beautiful cities like Wrocław and Gdańsk. Back home, Julia attends the Polish School of the Saint Cyril and Methodius Church in Greenpoint and plans on taking the Matura to solidify her knowledge of the Polish language. She volunteers there and helps out at Saint Stanislaus Kostka Church. Julia currently attends Townsend Harris High School and plans on continuing her studies in the medical field.
In her free time, Julia loves to cook and bake foods for her family and friends, while also running a food blog. Additionally, she adores dancing to music from all over the world and playing soccer. Julia is fluent in Polish and English, and proficient in French.
The Executive Assistant to the President supports the President of the Polish Youth Association in carrying out his duties, is responsible for answering questions and requests for meetings directed to the President, advises directors in making consistent decisions by informing them about precedents, organizes business trips and meetings, developing travel plans and transport booking plans, and organizing accommodation during business trips, carries out projects and special tasks, cares for the reputation of the President and the Association.
