Anna Gutowska

Chief Technology Officer

About me

Born in Poland and raised in New York City, Anna has grown an immense appreciation for the cultural interplay between the two and their impact on her life. Attending Polish School in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and being President of Rutgers Polish Club as well as Rutgers Miss Polonia 2021 are just a few of the ways Anna has involved herself in the Polish-American community. Anna studies Computer Science and Cognitive Science at Rutgers University Honors College and graduated from Townsend Harris High School in Flushing, Queens in 2019. Her identity as a first-generation college student and her passion for technology motivate her to succeed in her studies in hopes of becoming a Software Engineer. She also plans to utilize her education to inspire future generations of women in S.T.E.M. and to shatter the gender gap in the technology field.

Outside of her commitments to the Polish Youth Association, Anna volunteers her time as a Software Engineer at the Percentage Project, a non-profit organization working towards promoting inclusivity in tech as well as being a Research Assistant on campus exploring the relationship between ethnicity and one’s access to COVID related information online.

The Technical Assistant Specialist is responsible for providing assistance and maintenance to all technology-related concerns for the Association.
