Director of the Delegation of the Polish Youth Association in Chicago
Emily Kalinowski was born in the United States. Prior to moving to Chicago, Illinois, for college and career purposes, she had lived most of her life in Spring Grove, Illinois. Although she was born and raised in the United States, the majority of her family still resides in Białystok, Poland. She travels to Poland and frequently connects with her friends and family abroad to remain in touch with her Polish heritage. December 2021, she graduated from Loyola University of Chicago Magna Cum Laude with two degrees in Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management.
During her time at Loyola, Emily was the President and Vice President of the Polish Student Alliance. During her time as an organizational leader, she revived the organization and hosted events to allow the following executive boards to be able to continue working towards expanding the Polish community’s presence at the university. She shifted the organization's focus toward philanthropy, professional growth, and academic growth. Additionally, Emily focused on connecting students to the polish community and connecting the polish community to Loyola University.
In her free time, Emily enjoys exploring national parks, going on cross-country road trips, hiking, snowboarding, scuba diving, and exploring new countries.
