Amelia Wojtkowski was born in New York City, and was raised in a Polish culture home and neighborhood. She spends her summers traveling to Poland making wonderful memories visiting her close family and exploring cities like Warsaw, Krakow, Zakopane, Wieliczka, Malbork, Białowieża, and Częstochowa. Amelia also took part in a summer camp in Pułtuski, where she visited Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot, and Toruń.
Amelia attended Polish School Maria Konopnicka in Greenpoint and passed the Polish LOTE exam in 2019. She is fluent in Polish and English and proficient in French. Amelia currently attends the Academy of American Studies High School and plans to continue her journey in the Early Education field. Seeing as working with kids is her passion, Amelia volunteers at her elementary school PS.110 for their afterschool program as well as their summer camp. Additionally, she volunteers at Saint Stanislaus Kostka CCD Polish Class. To stay connected to the Polish language and expand her knowledge in the Early Education field, Amelia has been hired as an assistant teacher in the Polish Saturday School in the parish of St. Cyril and Methodius.
